Check for Existence of Microsoft Access

Here is the simplest way to see if Access is on your computer:

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click the All Programs button.

Usually, Access will appear under the Microsoft Office group, as shown below:

On other systems, Access may appear alone, as shown here:

Regardless of where it appears, you can verify that Access is installed on your system by selecting it directly from the menu. If it opens, then you have it installed. Click on Help > About to see which version it is.

If it does not run after being selected, or if you do not see Access listed anywhere on your program menu, then it probably doesn't exist on your computer. Option 3 is for you.
